We’re currently looking for capable, smart professionals in the following areas:
Software Developer
Location: Chengdu, China
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years minimum experience in software development.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Fluent English reading skill is a must, fluent spoken English would be plus.
Ability to work effectively on small to medium size development teams.
Ability to work closely with customers to intimately understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver on time according to project schedules.
Strong analytic skills.
Ability to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
Ability to select best methods and techniques for solving problems.
Must be a self-starter that can drive projects forward with minimal management oversight.
Ability to clearly communicate project status (progress, task estimations, and risks).
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Solid software development background and strong understanding and experience with object-oriented analysis and design concepts.
Experience in full life-cycle software development.
Extensive knowledge of java language is a must, and either php, perl, C++, or C# would be a plus Experience designing and building applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, high-reliability and maintainabilty.
Strong understanding and development experience with:
Common delivery protocols including HTTP, SSL, SMTP, UDP, TCP/IP.
Web technologies including Apache, Tomcat, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JMS), XML, SOAP, Struts, Taglib, JDBC.
Relational database design and technologies including MySQL, or Oracle, data modeling and schema design.
Familiar with Linux working environment, Eclipse.
